I came in Tuesday night with my 1 year old son after we had finished a tough day with the doctors. The team was very kind and accommodating! Our server was Alex. He was very attentive, and understood modifications necessary with a child so young. The bruschetta was absolutely delicious, we also got a pepperoni pizza which was so good even as leftovers, and the fettuccini Alfredo with garlic bread was so rich and delicious. The noodles were cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor as well. I would highly recommend Viscontis to anyone who is looking for delicious Italian in the Sacramento region!
This is a really cool family run place I have been to for a third time now! I recently went to visit to celebrate my friend’s birthday and we ended up reserving a spot at 7, and stayed past closing time. We did not feel rushed at all - in fact, after we paid and were finally ready to leave - one of the servers who did not even serve us personally showed us the restaurant’s newly renovated bar and we got to talking with the bartender and a few other staff just hanging out. we felt very welcomed and there’s no doubt that we’ll be back, eithrr separately or together!
Tried their linguini alla italiana and it was absolutely devine! The seafood was fresh, the flavours light yet still packs a punch, and the portion was huge! It came with an option of soup or salad, and garlic bread too. I couldn't finish it all, and they happily wrapped up the remaining pasta, salad and bread to go for me which basically made another meal for me the next day. Ambiance was loud but can still talk, and it's designed around each group having their own booth so it's not a large open area but you can still hear a lot of other's conversations. I like the pictures on the wall with Italian streets and surroundings which kinda brings that Italian vibes to life a little bit more. For the travellers - no wifi available here. Price guide (as of Sep 2025): Linguini alla italiana $29 Red wine $12 Tax $3.18
Holy cow so awesome! I ate here over 15 years ago when it was by the DMV in Folsom! I was afraid it; would not taste the same as many places have. It's absolutely fabulous the food is exceptionally excellent n this is chicken Parmesan, beef raviolis, spaghetti n meatballs n beef lasagna! You're missing out true Italian n flavors of Italy
The customer service was impeccable. As busy as they were they were always number one on a game. This is a good size restaurant with eating facilities outside in the bar area and the main dining room. You can't beat the excellent prices for the quality and amount of food you get. If there's anything I can say bad about this place; I would but I have nothing bad to say..
This is hands down the best Italian food I’ve ever had! They truly know how to work their magic. Be prepared for long wait times, especially on weekends, as the place is packed. The servers are friendly, and the complimentary garlic bread is the perfect cherry on top—it’s delicious! If you're looking for suggestions, the only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the calamari. It comes with tentacles, which isn’t for me, and it’s more chewy than crispy, which I personally don’t enjoy. Other than that, the food is fantastic. Highly, highly recommend!
The food here is delicious. I had Chicken Alfredo. The wine was good, also. The staff is very attentive. In fact, perhaps a little too much. My wife and I were trying to have a conversation, but we were constantly being asked if we were finished so they could take our plate. Our waitress used the phrase we dread: “are you still working on that?” We’ve spent a good amount of time in Italy. Frankly, Visconti’s food is better. However, they could work on a little more relaxed atmosphere to be perfectly Italian. Having said this (one drawback), I highly recommend Visconti’s. We’ll definitely be back! This was I believe our third time here, which is how many visits I want before I rate.
